There is a lot of stuff going on right now at NU on both teams and their players. Not good..

Wait a minute ......didn't Simon " Says " Gray indicate in the infamous tapes how they are committed to enhancing the student athlete experience ? The scary part is that the complaints and grumbling are coming from those that would be hard pressed to land a scholarship anywhere else , since we're basically signing unrecruited players . NU athletics is a mess top to bottom , one has to feel for the student athletes and those few coaches that are actually committed to elevating their respective programs .

BTW, did you notice Jada's spring recruiting class? ...three marginally performing transfers. The official write-up was so desperate to color the new players in a positive light that it went so far as to proclaim that one of the transfers "...was second on the team in free throw percentage (80%)..."it doesn't get any more pathetic than that.

The women's team will be very bad this year.

The players are basically calling athletic department a disaster.

The three transfers combined , averaged a shade over 10pts a game.....not individually.....COMBINED .........do the math !

Niagara is giving away tens of thousands of dollars worth of scholarships to many sub par players on both the women's and men's teams. Not all of the players are sub par but many are indeed so. Does any of this make sense to you guys? Think about it. When you add in the very poor coaching staffs and all the concomitant salaries and benefits therein, how can Niagara justify such wastes of money. Niagara gets NO bang for their buck, whatsoever. Think about it, here's an administration that is on the one hand supposed to be so thrifty and frugal, yet is getting nothing in return for its investment in women's and men's basketball, not to mention hockey.

Jadas recruiting class is an embarrassment and should be grounds for dismissal. It is pathetic.

Oddly enough, Jada is making me look at the Kendra years differently. Faustin was really picking up steam recruiting, and that has all been washed away by what a former player calls "a joke".

When the Faustin and Armstrong eras are looked upon as the " good old days " , you know that your basketball programs are in shambles .
