| Why would be travel to Providence and play Brown?
Wouldn't it make more sense to play PC?

| Correct Answer: Because Brown Is BEATABLE.
Providence would beat us by 25, I'm sorry, that's the half-time deficit. The final would be by 30.
PS: Although Brown is BEATABLE, NU could still lose that game.

| In all likelihood NU will lose to Brown , even if they don't.... a win at Brown is pretty insignificant . Playing Providence would at least ensure a payday of $50,000- $75,000 along with being an attractive selling point to prospective recruits . The traveling costs are the same whether it's Brown or PC . | |

And what makes you think that money would in any way make its way back to the basketball program to use for recruiting, new equipment, etc?

| The money would NOT go to Niagara athletics, it would go for more lobster and Lowenbrau for the Vincentians. Stay thirst my friends ! | |

| I have to ask this question. Who said Providence would even consider playing N U. What's in it for them? It would be a RPI downer for Providence, or Brown for that matter. | |

That underscores the whole problem with NU....we have become irrelevant and the coaches have no relationships with other coaches which mimics their modus operandi with the fans and apparently many players.
It really makes sense...."keep dp;n what you're do'n and you'll keep gett'n what your gett'n". No mystery thus the need for a fundamental change at the top, in the middle and at the bottom. Some day these guys will get fired...they'll move on and NU will be stuck with even a bigger hole to fill.

| Thx, M-fan. This is a schedule that a solid mid-major team could do some damage against....we'll go 2-9. | |

| The one win will come at home against Norfolk State. There's a possibility of a couple more wins but since I don't know how good the new guys will be, I can't give us more than one win at this time. | |

| Mike, I thought that they owed us a game. But perhaps they don't think NU is worthy enough to play at the GC, OR we're not quite weak enough to play at our home. | |

| There are only two other Vincentian schools and NU can't get one of them to play ? Who the hell cares about Norfolk St or North Texas St ??? The level of incompetency never ceases to amaze . Looks like not playing NU will now be the norm . It won't be long before the Bonnies will be history . | |
